Lotor got lost in the Nexus library and was taken back to the Decepticon Embassy by Glit of Stanix, because Glit had figured out that his family wasn't taking very good care of him. When Honerva closed the portal between her universe and the Nexus, Lotor managed to escape from the witch he didn't actually still believe was his mother and get back to Glit, who has now adopted him.
